Who Grows More, Intelligent or Motivated?

Who grows more, intelligent or motivated? - The title or question of this post was made by Daniel Godri, President of IBVM (Brazilian Institute of Marketing and Sales). In one of his lectures Godri was categorical in stating that motivated professional and has more chances to succeed in life than that intelligent professional.

Intelligent or motivated

Scrutinizing the speech of Prof. Godri, we can see that there are differences between these two types of professionals: the intelligent and motivated.

The motivated professional can go beyond the problem, he is able to find solutions, not just identify a difficulty.

The employee able to self-motivate, can seek meanings (and resources) to your tasks and projects and releases itself all the traps, making it a more relevant person and able to distinguish what is essential to your life.

As Happens in Real Life

Let's take as an example, a shop where there are two vendors: José (motivated) and Jeca (unmotivated).

In this store movement is moderate, but the conditions (structure, promotion, media, customers) are appropriate.

Joseph wakes up every day looking in the mirror and say - today you (his reflection in the mirror) will acquire a new customer and hit your goal of the day, all day he keeps the same energy of the early morning.

Have Jeca wake, is turning over in bed, get discouraged to work all day and complains of motion, poor week, among other lamentations - a real sea negativity.

At the end of the day, who do you think has sold more (and hit your daily target)?

Now I ask: what is your daily goal? You win the day or complain about the past?

Self Motivation is a daily discovery of who we are, what we want and where we want to be.
Motivation is the internal factor that provides you reasons to act in a certain way and in a certain direction.
WHAT YOU WANT TODAY? WHERE DO YOU WANT TO BE TOMORROW?
And finally, what are you doing today, will take you to your goal tomorrow?
Think about it!
